Wow!  On Monday Manuka Hub went to the Redwoods.  All of us went on the track.  We walked on the purple one.  The track was sharp because of the rocks.  When we got there we got to play.  I made a hut and a bridge and I climbed a tree.  Our hut was built beside a tree.  Blake and Max’s dad and Callum helped me.  It took twenty minutes to build.  When we went to get a drink someone broke it so we made a bridge into a hut.  We hunted for leaves.  Then we made the hut more bigger.  Then we put the leaves in the water to cover it so we can’t get wet.  The last thing was the wet sticks to put on the top of it.

Feijoa Ice Cream

Yum!  Yesterday Room 14 made feijoa ice cream.  First we put a block of frozen feijoas and bananas in the food processor.  Next we put in one piece of mint leaves in the food processor.  Next we put in manuka honey and then we put cream in too and we ate it.  It was soft.  I had maple syrup on the top.  It was tasty.

Summerset Trip

Manuka Hub went to Summerset yesterday.  A lady read Slinky Malinki to us.  It was fun.  Next we read our poems to her.  After that we came back in and did our concert.  Next a person threw some lollies for us.
